HIMSS Europe 2025

Workshop: A Holistic Approach to Assessment of AI in Cancer Screening

On behalf of the EUcanScreen project, we are pleased to host a workshop at HIMSS Europe 2025 – one of Europe’s leading conferences on digital health innovation, bringing together healthcare professionals, policymakers, and technology experts from across the continent.

Workshop: A Holistic Approach to Assessment of AI in Cancer Screening

As AI technologies become increasingly embedded in healthcare, it’s crucial to ensure they deliver real value – not just in terms of performance, but also patient benefit, ethical integrity, and system readiness.

In this interactive session, researchers from Denmark, the Netherlands, and Austria will present the Model for ASsessing the value of AI (MAS-AI) – a comprehensive, validated framework developed in collaboration with both experts and patient representatives.

Participants will:

  • – Explore the MAS-AI model and its domains including real-world AI cases from cancer screening
  • – Take part in a Delphi process to help shape future adaptation of the tool
  •

This session is designed for healthcare decision-makers, researchers, clinicians, and patient partners interested in meaningful and responsible AI evaluation.

When and where:

Date: Tuesday, June 10, 2025
Time: 1:00-3:00 PM
Place: HIMSS Europe 2025, Paris, France
